You are not selling anything online. You want someone who comes across your business to see within ten seconds what you make, where you work and how to call you. That is the site I build. Five pages, copy included, finished in a week.

- Online verkopenSelling online Geen winkelwagen of betaalfunctie. Wil je dat wel, dan wordt het een webshop en een ander traject. No cart or payments. If you want that, it becomes a webshop and a different project.
- Zelf teksten aanpassenEditing text yourself Er zit geen beheersysteem achter. Dat houdt de site snel en veilig, maar wijzigingen lopen via mij. There is no admin system behind it. That keeps the site fast and safe, but changes go through me.

Je bent vast weleens gebeld door iemand die de eerste plek beloofde. Dat is het punt waarop je moest ophangen.
You have probably been called by someone promising the top spot. That is the point at which you should have hung up.
Een positie in de zoekresultaten, een aantal bezoekers of een aantal aanvragen. Waar je terechtkomt hangt af van je concurrentie, je beoordelingen, hoe lang je bestaat en wat mensen aanklikken. Daar heeft niemand volledige invloed op, ik ook niet.
A position in the results, a number of visitors or a number of enquiries. Where you end up depends on your competition, your reviews, how long you have existed and what people click. Nobody controls all of that, myself included.
Wie dat wél belooft, verkoopt je iets anders dan hij zegt.
Anyone who does promise it is selling you something other than what they say.
Wat ik wel doe, en dat is meer dan de meeste sites in deze prijsklasse krijgen:
What I do do, and it is more than most sites in this price range get:
- Een site die Google technisch goed kan lezen en snel laadt op mobiel. A site Google can read properly and that loads fast on mobile.
- Je Google Bedrijfsprofiel ingericht. Voor een lokaal bedrijf weegt dat vaak zwaarder dan de site zelf. Your Google Business Profile set up. For a local business that often matters more than the site itself.
- Teksten met de woorden erin waarop mensen in jouw vak daadwerkelijk zoeken. Copy containing the words people in your trade actually search for.
- Dat je in elk geval vindbaar bent op je eigen bedrijfsnaam. Dat is nu vaak niet zo. That you are at least findable by your own business name. Often that is not the case today.
Kortom: ik zorg dat je gevonden kúnt worden en dat er niets in de weg staat. Waar je precies eindigt, bepaalt Google.
In short: I make sure you can be found and that nothing is in the way. Where exactly you end up is Google's call.

Dit is het punt waarop ik van de meeste webbouwers verschil, dus ik leg het uit.
This is where I differ from most web builders, so let me explain.
Veel sites draaien op WordPress met tientallen plug-ins die verouderen en lekken. Dáárom bestaan onderhoudscontracten. Ik bouw je site zonder dat alles: geen database, geen plug-ins, niets om in te breken. Zo’n site draait jaren door zonder dat er iemand aan hoeft te komen.
Many sites run on WordPress with dozens of plugins that age and spring leaks. That is why maintenance contracts exist. I build your site without any of that: no database, no plugins, nothing to break into. A site like that runs for years without anyone touching it.
Wat je wél af en toe wilt, zijn wijzigingen. Nieuwe projectfoto’s, een dienst erbij, een prijs die verandert. Die reken ik per keer af tegen €75 per uur, per half uur af te nemen. Een paar foto’s vervangen is meestal binnen dat half uur klaar.
What you will want now and then are changes. New project photos, an extra service, a price that shifts. I bill those per time at €75 an hour, in half-hour blocks. Swapping a few photos usually fits inside that half hour.
Alleen de hosting en je domeinnaam lopen door. Dat is bij elkaar een paar tientjes per jaar en dat betaal je rechtstreeks, niet aan mij.
Only hosting and your domain name carry on. Together that is a few tens of euros a year and you pay it directly, not to me.

Ik heb al een website. Wat gebeurt daarmee?I already have a website. What happens to it?
Die vervangen we. Je domeinnaam blijft gewoon dezelfde, dus mensen die je adres kennen komen op de nieuwe site uit. Ik zet de oude pas offline als de nieuwe staat en werkt.
We replace it. Your domain name stays the same, so people who know your address land on the new site. I only take the old one offline once the new one is up and working.
Van wie is de site als we klaar zijn?Who owns the site when we are done?
Van jou. Het domein staat op jouw naam, de bestanden zijn van jou, en je zit niet aan mij vast. Wil je over twee jaar met iemand anders verder, dan kan dat zonder gedoe.
You. The domain is in your name, the files are yours, and you are not tied to me. If you want to work with someone else in two years, that is no problem.
Kan ik zelf iets veranderen aan de site?Can I change things myself?
Nee, en dat is een bewuste keuze. Er zit geen beheersysteem achter, waardoor de site sneller en veiliger is en er niets kapot kan. De keerzijde: een tekst of foto wijzigen loopt via mij, tegen €75 per uur.
No, and that is a deliberate choice. There is no admin system behind it, which makes the site faster and safer and means nothing can break. The trade-off: changing a text or photo goes through me, at €75 an hour.
Verwacht je elke week iets te willen aanpassen, zeg dat dan vooraf. Dan is een andere opzet verstandiger en zeg ik dat eerlijk.
If you expect to change something every week, say so up front. Then a different setup makes more sense and I will tell you so.
Wat als ik geen goede foto’s heb?What if I do not have good photos?
Telefoonfoto’s van echt werk zijn beter dan gekochte stockfoto’s, dus begin daar. Heb je echt niets bruikbaars, dan regel ik een fotograaf voor een dag. Dat is een module met een eigen prijs.
Phone photos of real work beat bought stock images, so start there. If you genuinely have nothing usable, I can arrange a photographer for a day. That is a module with its own price.
Wat als ik later toch online wil verkopen?What if I want to sell online later?
Dan wordt het een webshop, en dat is mijn andere vak. De teksten en foto’s die we hier maken gaan mee, maar de site zelf wordt opnieuw gebouwd op Shopify. Dat is een apart traject met een eigen prijs.
Then it becomes an online store, which is my other line of work. The copy and photos we make here carry over, but the site itself gets rebuilt on Shopify. That is a separate project with its own price.
Hoe lang duurt het echt?How long does it really take?
Een week, gerekend vanaf het moment dat ik je foto’s heb en we hebben gebeld. In de praktijk is dat het punt waar het meestal blijft liggen, dus die week begint wanneer jij klaar bent, niet wanneer je opdracht geeft.
A week, counted from the moment I have your photos and we have spoken. In practice that is where things usually stall, so the week starts when you are ready, not when you place the order.
Waarom €995 en niet €400?Why €995 and not €400?
Voor €400 krijg je een sjabloon waar je zelf je teksten in moet zetten. Het schrijven is precies het deel waar de meeste mensen op vastlopen, en dat doe ik hier voor je. Daar komt bij dat de site met de hand gebouwd wordt in plaats van in elkaar geklikt, waardoor hij sneller is en beter leesbaar voor Google.
For €400 you get a template you still have to fill with your own copy. Writing it is exactly where most people get stuck, and here I do it for you. On top of that the site is built by hand rather than clicked together, which makes it faster and easier for Google to read.
